Find your pace. Find your people.

No pressure. No racing. Just good company.

We’re a friendly and inclusive running and walking group combining trail running, walking, and social adventures across Dorset & Hampshire. Every week we meet up to explore new trails, parks, and countryside together.

Whether you're here for a steady walk, a relaxed run, or a bit more of a challenge, you’ll fit right in.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Every week, one of our members sets a trail using simple markings for the group to follow.

  • Choose your pace: There are options for runners and walkers
  • Stay together: Routes are cleverly designed so no one ever gets left behind
  • Enjoy: It’s as much about the journey as the destination
THE SOCIAL SIDE

After most runs, we stick around for a social — sometimes at a pub, sometimes outdoors, sometimes just a chat. Joining in is completely optional, so come along for as much or as little as you like.

We’re a welcoming group with a mix of ages, abilities, runners and walkers. Just turn up — we’ll look after you.

  • You don’t need to be fast.
  • You don’t need to know anything about hashing.
  • You don’t need to drink.
WHEN & WHERE

With a new location each week, we gather at 10:45 for an 11:00 kickoff every Sunday.

FAQs

So you’ve decided to take the plunge and try hashing but you are not sure what to do when you arrive and what to bring with you. Below are a few notes that might answer some questions that you might have.

What do I do when I arrive?

Look for people in running kit and bright shirts and ask for a committee member. Don’t worry — everyone is friendly.

What do I do with my bag?

Leave valuables at home; store bags in your car. The club is not responsible for lost or damaged items.

How much does hashing cost?

£2 per run, to be given to the Hash Cash before the run. Bring extra money for drinks/snacks at the pub if you want.

Is there somewhere to get changed?

Usually only pub toilets or your car. We recommend changing at home if you prefer privacy.

How far do you run?

The main is typically 3–5 miles, with the mini ~2 miles. Runs are not non‑stop — there are checks and regroup points, so you can go at your own pace.

What do I need to bring with me?

Comfortable running/walking kit, old shoes you don’t mind getting muddy, and warm dry clothes to change into. Bring a sense of humour.
